Beth Moore Weekend

This past weekend I was able to go to New Orleans to see Beth Moore with a group of ladies from church. It was an incredible weekend of worship and bible study! The topic for the weekend was The Holiness of Wholeness. I was so excited when she said we were going to learn about being holy since that is something that is very abstract and difficult for me to understand. The scripture for the weekend was 1 Thessalonians 5:12-24. One part that really spoke to me was about "getting in people's business" (as Beth said). Verse 14 gives us permission to get in each other's business but even more importantly it gives people permission to get in my business. She said "We can't be holy without other people" and that is so true. I pray God will give people around me boldness to "get in my business". The scripture also tells us 3 things that help us live holy lives, be joyful always, pray continually, and give thanks in ALL circumstances. Be joyful ALWAYS....give thanks is ALL circumstances?? WOW....that can only be done with the help of the Lord. I pray God will give me the strenth to be joyful and to give thanks ALWAYS! I didn't really get to relax or get extra sleep but the weekend was AWESOME! I did get to get to really know people I only knew on the surface and I got to eat some yummy beignets!!!!! Since Brandon was working my wonderful Mom and Dad kept the kids. They probably didn't even notice I was gone because they were having so much fun! Friday night Faith, Abby, Maggie, and Pappaw camped out in a tent!!! Abby, Maggie, and Pappaw did this all last summer but this was Faith's first time. She crawled in her sleeping bag and slept all night!! Then Saturday morning the church was having an Easter celebration and my brother took Faith with Abby and Maggie. They had a huge inflatable slide, listened to the Easter story, did a craft, and had an Easter egg hunt. She had so much fun. Thanks Mom, Dad, and Jason for taking such good care of my babies while I was gone!
All 5 grandkids on the 4 wheeler.

Max and Jack playing in the grass.

Faith and Max swinging....see how she's holding onto his swing?? So sweet!

She will do anything Abby and Maggie do!!

I couldn't believe she was sitting so still listening to the story!

I absolutely LOVE this picture. That is my happy girl!!!
