We went for Max's 9 month check up on Thursday. He was 17 lbs. 4 oz. and 27 inches long (I think...can't find the paper right now). He is in the 10th percentile on his weight but Dr. Moak wasn't concerned because he IS gaining weight. He's just a little guy!! He was in the 50th percentile on his height. Tall and skinny. His development was right on track and his ears were rechecked and they were clear FINALLY (we are on our second antibiotic).
At 9 months he is :
crawling everywhere. His favorite place to hang out is in the bathroom...He LOVES his bath and thinks if he crawls in there he might get to get in the tub!!
He is trying to pull up but doesn't have enough leg strength yet to get all the way up so he just pulls up on his knees.
He says Dadadada a lot and Faith will "talk" to him by dadadada-ing back at him.
He's already gotten a little summer tan. His skin is olive toned and looks so dark already. People are always commenting on how pretty his complexion is.
He is FINALLY sleeping through the night most nights. He is a loud sleeper so he wakes me up making noises during the night but doesn't really wake up until 7:00 or so each morning. Life is so much better now that he is sleeping through the night!!!
He is still such a happy baby. Smiles more than any baby I've ever seen. And LOVES LOVES LOVES his big sister!!

You allready know how precious I think he is!! He is so cute!! Enjoy these days..they go by so fast and then before you know it they are teenagers!! :( You are blessed..you have two precious children!!! I sometimes miss those days of having little ones and often wish I could go back and see them little!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way..My Molly was walking at 9 months!! It was wierd because she was so tiny!! I wanted her to stay a baby!! LOL
WOW! I can't believe how old he is:) I love his newborn picture..he's changed so much!
