“PON-PONIES”

Down the street from our house there are a couple of pastures with miniature ponies in them.  Faith loves to look for the “pon-ponies” when we are going somewhere.  We drive by slowly and look….most of the time they are way in the back and we can’t see them but I tell her they are eating their lunch.  So she says “pon-ponies waaaay back eat lunch”.  Sometimes they are closer to the front where she can see them and she gets so excited and says “momma I see pon-ponies”.  One day we were on the way home and they were right up by the fence so I asked her if she would like to get out and see the ponies and pet them.  Of course she wanted to.  They are pretty aggressive as they are used to kids (I think they are sometimes used for petting zoos) and come running up if you stop.  They stick their noses out so that they can be petted and they’ll eat grass out of your hand.  She had a blast!!
