Faith learned how to pedal her bike this week. She sometimes needs a little push to get started but then she can go! She rode it for about 2 hours straight this morning. She wouldn't get off for anything!! So exciting!!
She is turning into such a big girl! This past weekend we (meaning Faith and I....Brandon is out of town AGAIN) took her toddler bed/crib out, rearranged her room, and put a "big girl" bed in there. She helped me do all the rearranging she even helped me move the mattresses in there and we went to Wal-Mart and I let her pick out brand new sheets. The we came home and THREW HER PACI IN THE TRASH!!!!!! Yes....I finally did it. When she turned 1 we made her stop walking around with it...she only had it when she slept but she was VERY dependent on it to get to sleep. When she started "school" this fall she started taking her nap without her paci so I knew it was time to take it away at home. Overall she really has done well without it. She doesn't love going to sleep anymore (she used to beg to go to bed) and she sometimes cries when I first walk out but she 's getting better. The thing I was most worried about was the middle of the night. I had no idea how she would handle waking up and not having it to help her get back to sleep but she's been without it since Saturday night and she hasn't woken up once (I probably just jinxed myself and she'll be up tonight). Anyway...all this is making me sad that she's growing up but they are all big, exciting mile stones!
