Today is the first day of fall. I just love fall weather. As a side note....Mom and I have always said we are going to take a trip up the coast of Maine in the fall. I'm still waiting to take that trip...maybe when the kids are MUCH older. I just love the leaves changing colors and falling off the trees and the cooler weather. I'm not an avid football watcher but I do enjoy our family time at the Tech football games. I used to enjoy fishing a lot more but my mind can't stop turning long enough for me to sit on a boat all day with no computer or nothing to do but sit and hope a fish bites. Fall is a WONDERFUL time of year! One of my favorites parts of fall is the food, chili, soups, chowders, gumbo. They are easy to cook, last for more than a day (which means I don't have to cook as often), and are sooo yummy!!
This past weekend we went on a short camping trip up to Lake Claiborne. Brandon needed to take the camper out and set it up to check it all out before selling it so we went with him. It rained pretty much the whole time but it was nice to get away for a little more than a day. 
Then on Saturday we came back early so we could go to the first Tech home game.
