it's been a while....

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated. We really haven't had too much going on to blog about. And I've been super busy with my new job. I am enjoying it immensely. Last Friday night we had a BIG tie-dye party. We had 30 kids come out to eat pizza and tie-dye t-shirt. We talked a little about Joseph and his coat of many colors and then made our own shirt of many colors. I really felt like the kids had an incredible time and I got to see some of their shirts Sunday night and they turned out sooo cute!!

Other than all that jazz! Faith and Max started school last week. Faith is going 2 days a week, Tuesday and Thursday. She is LOVING it!! She has even been sleeping at school without her paci!!!!!!!!!!

She also decided about a month ago that she wanted to use the potty and she has been doing GREAT ever since then. She wears big girl panties around the house and sometimes when we run errands or something. She wears a pull-up to school or church but doesn't have many accidents at all! I'm so proud of her....potty trained at 2 years and 4 months is pretty early!!

Max is going to school on Tuesday only. It gives me time to get some stuff done at the church without helpers. He enjoys going and playing away from Mommy once a week. Today, apparently he started walking!! They said he was walking half way across the room!! He has taken about 4 or 5 steps for us tonight but I know he'll take off soon. I just can't believe he walked on the ONE day a week I'm away from him!! Stinker boy!!

My first trip as children's minister was to take a group of kids to Watertown in Shreveport back in August. Faith got to tag along with us and she had a blast!
