Has it really been 18 months since my baby boy was born?!!? Goodness, where does time go!? People always say "they grow up so fast" but you just don't realize how fast until it is your child(ren) that is growing up so fast. This blog is a great way for me to remember what my kids are doing so I'll list a few things....
At his 18 month check up he was 25lbs. and inches. He is growing right on track even though he still seems so small to me. He is wearing 18 or 24 month old clothes. The nurse was asking all those questions about development and she asked if he could say 7 - 20 words, I literally LOL because he can say pretty much anything you ask him to say. He talks ALL the time. He can count to 6 and can sing Jesus Loves Me. He LOVES to read and his favorite book right now is Brown Bear Brown Bear. He absolutely adores his big sister and calls her "sissy". We aren't sure how he came up with this because we never called her that. We would say sister occassionally so I guess to him it was Sissy. He loves to play with trucks and balls...TRUE BOY but also loves to cook in the play kitchen with Faith. Well....really anything she does he likes to do or at least try. Pappaw is still his favorite person in the world and he asks for him ALL the time. He loves to watch Blue Clues and Mickey. He is going to "school" (MDO) 2 days a week and loves to play with his friends there, especially his cousin Jack Jack.
In no time at all I'll have a 3 year old and a 2 year old. TIME FLIES!
