I’ve had SOOOO much fun making stuff lately! I have so many ideas in my head that I want to sew out but they of course take time. So here are a few that I’ve done recently and I’ll continue to post some as I make them. I’ve gotten quite a few orders this week and I’m really excited about that too! I’m so thankful to have found this hobby!
I made this for Faith’s teacher for Valentine’s! It’s just zebra fabric with her monogram on it in a picture frame. Size 5x7.
Let me introduce you to my little model….Her name is Faith and apparently she hates everything I make for her. Anytime I suggest she wear something I made (unless it’s a t-shirt) she runs from me. She is my t-shirt and jeans kinda girl and isn’t really into all this frou frou her mother is trying to make her wear. Like in this picture for instance…it may look as if you she is striking a pose…..oh but on the contrary she is actually about to take off running because not only did I put this outfit on her now I want to take her picture in it! But I did the get the picture and she looks so darn cute in it!! :) The top is a pillowcase style brown fabric with turquoise poodles and polka dots. The pants are turquoise with a brown polka dot cuff! This outfit can be custom made for $30.
This is not a good picture of my kids but it is the only picture I have to show the black/white damask dress I made for her. (side note…..my camera is STILL broken and will not be repaired so I’m in the market for a new one…..these pictures are horrible quality because they are taken with my iphone which is the only camera I have right now!) This dress can be custom made (in your choisce of fabric) for $35 including a monogram.
My BFF got her boys snuggies for Vday and she wanted me to put their names on them…..so she came over to bring them to me and saw a red/blue plaid pawprint I had done and we decided to put that on their snuggies too! Now they have adorable TECH BULLDAWG snuggies to keep them warm! Faith was our model since her boys were at school!
I absolutely LOVE this apron top. I wasn’t sure how much I would like it when I first saw it but it looked easy enough so I decided to make it anyway…..now it is by far my favorite piece!!! I can’t wait to make some more!
Next week on March 2nd many schools across the nation will be participating in Read Across America to celebrate the life of Dr. Seuss….I had a couple of parents ask me to make their children a shirt to wear during their celebrations. The first one is a THING J (J is for Joshua…..isn’t that the cutest idea??) and the 2nd picture is for my BFF’s boys to wear….red fish/blue fish. I hope to get 1 fish and 2 fish made for my kids and they will all go together! SO CUTE!!!!
Well I’m off to bed….I’ve been staying up WAAAAAAY to late sewing and my children have been getting up WAAAAAAY to early!
Everything is so cute! Love the apron top! I need a new sewing machine!!! Haha
